Nestled along the Grand Canal in Yangzhou, a city famed for its profound canal heritage, this project takes the "sailing ship" as its core design motif. The architecture is conceived as a graceful vessel floating on the water, its form seamlessly merging with the canal waterscape to forge an organic bond between built space and the natural waterfront site.

The building’s sweeping roof is crafted to resemble a fully unfurled, wind-filled sail. Its curved form channels abundant natural daylight into the interior, creating a transparent, lightweight aesthetic. The open-air viewing platform, positioned like the ship’s bow, offers a panoramic canal overlook, guiding visitors through a poetic journey of architecture-nature symbiosis.
